   Kim Savage has dedicated her professional career to serving college students through more than 40 years of progressive experience in 5 institutions of higher education and is currently self-employed as a consultant providing support for policy analysis and assessment projects. Her areas of responsibility advanced from building management, volunteer coordination, and program planning to strategic planning and program analysis. She regularly authored reports and communications for high level administrators to proactively introduce new initiatives, positively highlight accomplishments, request legislation changes, and manage information flow. She was also called upon to provide leadership to interdepartmental teams for implementation of major projects. She has authored/co-authored 10 articles that have been published in professional journals and has chaired 2 international committees for the Association of College Unions International.


She volunteered as an unpaid commissioner on the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, where she served as Chair of the Audit Committee. From 2009-2015, she served as an unpaid elected trustee on the College of DuPage Board. She was also served as an Associate Member of the Public Policy Committee of the Association of Community College Trustees in 2015, the national trustee organization that advocates on behalf of community colleges.
